Xat has just announced that the next power is going to be SANTA. It includes festive smilies and 3 flix animations. This also means thats its going to be a group power.

SANTA has been released for 300 xats and is not limited.

NOTE: When Xat released its SPOOKY & HORROR power they went limited. This might happen again with WINTER, and then with SANTA. This is just a suggestion and doesn’t mean it’s actually going to happen.

Xat: New Maze Power

The latest power is mazeban. Users must find there way to the end of the maze to win the game. The higher the ban the bigger the maze will be. You use your arrow keys to move around the maze. There is no need to use your mouse. This power has now been released and costs 400xats. It is unlimited.

Here is a screen shot of a 45 hour mazeban. As you can see the maze is really big.

Welcome to my first post for the Xatworld’s blog. I am going to be telling you all about the latest news on Xats new epic power (GOLD). Just like purple, (GOLD) changes the colour of your pawn to gold and has a sparkle effect. If you have gold power you will appear higher on the users list.

Gold costs 50,000 xats which is around $175. Gold power is being sold at a rate of 25-50 at a time. If you are not able to buy this power during its release don’t worry, it will be unlimited at a later date.

Gold also comes with these Xat smilies: (gold) (goldb) (bar) (bars). Note: (goldb) can be used with Gback and (bars) is a hand for smilies.

If you dont have the xats to buy gold dont worry. Since gold came out, purple’s trade price has dropped by 5k. Instead of paying Xat’s store price of 25k you can save yourself 5k. Just don’t forget this is trades price which can go lower and higher at any time. It’s good to get this purple for a really low price just in case it does go back up.

Halloween is here and it’s time to get busy scare-ifying your chat. Clearly you can start by choosing a spooky Halloween chat background, but why not choose just the right smileys for your GLINE power. A guide to completing Xat’s NERD power Quiz

First off, this “guide” is merely an explanation of what you have to do (complete the quiz) to buy Xat’s NERD power and why it’s being required. I don’t have any intention on giving out any answers. Even if I wanted to I really couldn’t as each quiz is randomized and no two are alike. Hopefully this at least helps out the few of you who may not read or understand English and are unable to Google translate Xat’s flash quiz.

Xat clearly is trying to do some good here. Too many people, perhaps new to the internet and unaccustomed to these sorts of things, are getting their Xat and email accounts “phished“. The quiz is just a simple way to bring attention to that problem and teach each of us just one way that scammers are stealing our accounts.

The following screenshots are from my own successfully completed Xat NERD quiz. In each image we are being asked to answer either YES or NO to the question, “is this a phishing page”. While taking your own quiz have a look at each image and determine on your own whether you think the example is a real Xat login page or a fake one. If you are correct, you will move on to the next frame until you get to frame (5/5) – quiz complete.
