It’s taken some time to publish, sort through, and get final approval from Xat for the winning 9, but we now have them!

For those that weren’t aware of it, this particular contest was published and promoted only in two places; on Xat.com’s Twitter and our own Xatworld Twitter. We like to publish contests in different areas of our site to encourage and reward participation.

With it we hope that everyone will more thoroughly understand how Xat kisses work, what some of the kiss options are, and  just how cool they really can be. We also see this Xat Kiss generator as a good tool for experimenting with pull, bugs, and globe type kisses to see which Xat smileys are currently functioning and which aren’t. In our testing, we’ve concluded that IF it doesn’t show up on the Xat kiss generator, it will not show up in a chatbox (see below).

Turns out that if you choose to send a Kiss to someone and choose a smiley that isn’t visible, you get this (someone please correct me if I’m wrong)…

Using the Kiss generator you could check firsthand, before purchasing a kiss, if your particular smiley choice was working or not. Good? We hope so!

Here’s a hint

Great news! A few people turned us on to a goof on our part; namely that although we *thought* there were only 1000 avatars, there are in fact more… 1759 to be exact (that includes Avatar “0″). Even better news, we now have all of them accounted for, including the three “missing” avatars. Yay for that!

Now the seemingly bad news. The file size has roughly doubled So, be forewarned that you’ll be loading roughly an 800k image.

We already have the Nameglow generator, and now we’ve added two more; a Beam and Anime nick generator.

Give each of them a look. They’re meant to take the hassle and guesswork out of creating colored nicks using the most common Xat powers.

Born of our own frustrations, we’ve taken on the task of compiling a complete list of every Xat avatar that exists (ummm, minus 3 oddball avi’s that for some reason just don’t want to play nice) and placed them all on one page.

Below each avatar is displayed its corresponding avatar code which, as you know, can be used directly on Xat.com; this is especially good for you non-subscribers as you will no longer have to play the “avatar lottery” to find that Bart Simpson that you accidentally passed by; grrrrrrr!

Those of you who frequent Trade or Cambio (Spanish Trade) have no doubt wrestled with the task of converting xats to days, days to xats or simply figuring out the cost of quantity “x” of some specific power.

Ziggy did a great job coming up with a formal list of current store, fair and high values that he published on his Fair trade page. That page became part of Trade for a time before they too came up with their own, member updated version of a Fair trade page. Although each does have its own merits, we’ve been searching for something similar, but in a much simpler and easy-to-use format. Xatworld Idea Factory’s very own “Ellen90999cp (192313721)” has come to us with the idea of a xat to days converter.

Using our new Xatworld exchange page, users can now calculate online xat to day, day to xat, and power conversions on the fly. We think everyone will find it useful. In the coming weeks we will try to add some additional functions to make everything much easier for Xat traders.

For those of you that find creating staff lists a bit hard we’ve created a generator that makes is a little easier for you. Using our Xat staff list generator, you can add a list title, add main owners, owners, moderators and members, add extra things like ID and date, and adjust things like colors, create special custom titles, and a few other things. We are calling it a “work in progress” because truthfully, we can think of alot of cool features that we’d like to add to it. For now, just give it a try and see what you think!

Me again! Minutes ago, actually 2 hours ago according to our new Twitter widget, we announced our new Nameglow color code generator. We made reference to a code that we had “stashed away”. Well “that code” is this code only now we’ve separated it into two parts: Nameglow color codes and now Hat color codes.

Simple to use, our Hat color code generator quickly lets you choose from a multitude of colors. Displayed below that color picker are the current Xat hats available to those users that have purchased the Hat power.

We will be adding all seasonal Xat hats very shortly. In the meantime, if anyone would like to lend a hand, just tell us which ones we are missing.
