Xat has added new Thanksgiving gifts that are only around for a limited time.
There are 14 new gifts in total.
Xat has only added gifts and not cards. This means all Thanksgiving gifts will cost 100 xats each.
If you are not into Thanksgiving don’t worry, Christmas will be here shortly and Xat will most likely add Christmas gifts and cards soon.
Remember:
Gifts cost 100 xats and Cards cost 50 xats each.
Welcome to my first post for the Xatworld’s blog. I am going to be telling you all about the latest news on Xats new epic power (GOLD). Just like purple, (GOLD) changes the colour of your pawn to gold and has a sparkle effect. If you have gold power you will appear higher on the users list.
Gold costs 50,000 xats which is around $175. Gold power is being sold at a rate of 25-50 at a time. If you are not able to buy this power during its release don’t worry, it will be unlimited at a later date.
Gold also comes with these Xat smilies: (gold) (goldb) (bar) (bars). Note: (goldb) can be used with Gback and (bars) is a hand for smilies.
If you dont have the xats to buy gold dont worry. Since gold came out, purple’s trade price has dropped by 5k. Instead of paying Xat’s store price of 25k you can save yourself 5k. Just don’t forget this is trades price which can go lower and higher at any time. It’s good to get this purple for a really low price just in case it does go back up.

Once again another Xat holiday season is upon us. To celebrate Thanksgiving and get everyone in the Christmas spirit Xat is starting to roll out some of its traditional Xat Thanksgiving and Xat Christmas pawns. We’ve compiled a list of those pawns currently active on our Xat pawn codes page.
As of this posting the pawn codes only work in one of the several test chats.
We’ll add to the list if we come across any new Xat Thanksgiving or Xat Christmas pawn codes.
Halloween is here and it’s time to get busy scare-ifying your chat. Clearly you can start by choosing a spooky Halloween chat background, but why not choose just the right smileys for your GLINE power. If you’re stumped and can’t quite decide on which smileys to use here are our choices for the top 12 Xat Halloween themed GLINE smileys (note that GLINE requires that you use “normal” non-combo smileys).

First off, a big thank you to everyone that helped take the Xatblogs Facebook page past 300+ likes. That was awesome!
While I now sort through the Xatblogs banned game idea entries here, as promised, are the details of the GBACK contest:
To make this as fair as possible for everyone, this will involve no skill set whatsoever.
1. You will be asked to complete or come close to completing a flash jigsaw puzzle (takes 2 to 5 minutes tops).
2. The puzzle, once complete, will reveal the name of a chat and provide you with your only instruction for completing a very simple task.
3. First person to complete the task wins one GBACK power – simple as that!
A link to the puzzle, with no additional information, will be Tweeted tonight, Saturday, October 1st at 8PM (pst – pacific standard time), on the Xatworld Twitter page.
IMPORTANT: To be clear, when this link displays a date of Saturday, October 1, 2011 and a time of 8:00:00 PM you’ll know that the tweet is close!
The first person to come “close enough” to completing the puzzle is sure to win – so, being fast clearly helps. If you’re in some far off time-zone set your alarm now!

4. The first user to post was LITTLE JACK, second was Rkrd Zdk. I watched it go through and LJ posted 15-20 seconds sooner than Rkrd:
…not from us, but from a Brazilian radio station chat; two of them actually (Docedado and RadioCantoUniversal). Seems that sometime this week, RadioCantoUniversal, popped up on the supported list out of nowhere; assigning a record 2345 SUPPORTER to their chat; beating out Docedado by several hundred. Today however, seems that “Docedado” has taken it personally and accepted the challenge. They have added roughly 1000 additional supporter to their chat pulling ahead to 2602.

For U$200 We can buy Xat’s pack of 33,000 xats + 1980 days (currently the biggest bang for your buck)
Let’s cash those days in to make things easier. At roughly market value we get:
(1980 days * 13 xats) + the original 33,000 xats from the pack above = 60,540 xats
Worst case scenario, let’s say they had to buy supporter at cost (100 xats per unit). Here’s what they spent to get those 2602 supporter:
2602 supporter * 100 xats = 260,200 xats
That value translated to U$ (dollars):
260,200 / 60,540 xats = 4.3 blocks of Xat’s U$200 pack option or roughly U$860.00

Details of this contest can be found within the Xatblogs contests group so I’ll make this short and sweet.
The basic contest idea is to come up with some fresh ideas for Xat’s next snakebanned, spacebanned, matchbanned type game. Something that will tie in with that concept.
You have just over two weeks to ask questions, to rough out an idea, and to submit it. Hopefully they (Xat) get some good ideas and lots of participation from everyone.
