Xat has added some Christmas gifts/cards. The cost of each is 50 xats for a card and 100 xats for a gift.
Once again another Xat holiday season is upon us. To celebrate Thanksgiving and get everyone in the Christmas spirit Xat is starting to roll out some of its traditional Xat Thanksgiving and Xat Christmas pawns. We’ve compiled a list of those pawns currently active on our Xat pawn codes page.
As of this posting the pawn codes only work in one of the several test chats.
We’ll add to the list if we come across any new Xat Thanksgiving or Xat Christmas pawn codes.

This is mostly a recap of what went on earlier today.
Most already know that Xat has announced it’s next power, WINTER. What Xat didn’t announce was it’s flurry of new pawn releases. Side note: sorry for the barrage of Tweets but news of each new pawn literally came to us that quickly and that spread out (thank you again VIR3N).
So let’s see…since this first group of new pawns do seem to share a common theme “cough.. Christmas.. cough, cough”, let’s just call them “Christmas themed pawns”. We were able to spot the following:
Try (hat#hg) for the sack-like pawn. You’ll need CHRISTMAS and HAT:
Try (hat#hc) for the ice-cube (yeah, that’s what we’re calling them) candy pawn. You’ll need CHRISTMAS and HAT:
This one is a mystery (Christmas tree pawn?). Rumored to be (hat#ht). You’ll need to have HAT & WINTER. If you know the code please help everyone out by posting in the comments:
This one is also a mystery (let’s call it a scarf snowman pawn) the snowman pawn. You’ll need to have HAT and WINTER. Again, if you know the code please post in the comments below:
We were fortunate enough to be online (yeah, we don’t sleep) when Xat sent out a test version of its new Christmas power (57). All we know right now is that this power allows you to make use of 26 new Christmas themed smiles.
No news on when or where it will be released or how much it will cost.

Update 2: Power is now on sale @ 300 xats.
Xat’s eagerly awaited power 56 has transformed into and been released as the new “Snowy power”. With it users have access to a new “Snowy kiss” (see below).
Those users that do not have the new Snowy power can still take advantage of another new Christmas themed kiss called “Globe”. It too is now visible along with the other kisses.
In addition Xat has included an easter egg of sorts for the Globe kiss. By appending #reindeer to the end of the kisses message, the default Snow kiss snowman can be replaced by a reindeer.
Update: We missed this before but Xat has also added new smilie power functionality for the SNOWY power. Here’s an example of what you can do!
